Samsung is making a deal to purchase 1 million OLED panels from LG in 2021 and 4 million more in 2022. Samsung is one of the biggest TV manufacturers has focused on LED LCD technology along with QLED. Samsung has finally decided to give their buyers the option to experience OLED technology from their favorite TV Brand.

OLED does have many advantages over LCD & LED, thinner, lighter, flexible, brighter, OLEDs do not require backlighting & have large fields of view to name a fee, but does have some disadvantage too, the blue OLEDs organics currently have much shorter lifetimes, manufacturing processes are expensive & water can easily damage OLEDs, I believe Samsung will probably start off only producing 8X TVs with OLED technology & maybe their Frame TVs.
