On May 13th, 2021 you will be able to get your hands on the new Galaxy Book Pro and/or Galaxy Book Pro 360. The cost starts at $999.99 for the 256GB, 13″ Galaxy Book Pro, two-color choices, and four color choices for the 15″ model. The Galaxy Book Pro The Galaxy Book Pro 360 starts at $1,199.99 for the 256GB, 13.3″, two color choices for both the 13.3″ & 15.5″ models.
On the specs side, the Galaxy Book Pro has an AMOLED 1920 x 1080 Screen while the Galaxy Book Pro 360 gets a Super AMOLED 1920 x 1080 touch screen which is a 2-in-1 convertible design.
Under the hood, these laptops are using Intel 11th Gen Intel Evo processors, Intel i5 or i7 for Galaxy Book Pro, and Intel i7 only for Galaxy Book Pro 360. Both laptops powered by a 20-hour or 21-hour battery, depending on the chosen screen size.
The Galaxy Book Pro 360 comes with the S Pen. The operating system on both laptops is Windows 10 Home version. On the Galaxy Book Pro, the internal memory is 8GB RAM up to 512GB SSD & 16GB RAM with 512GB SSD on the 15.6″. On the Galaxy Book Pro 360, the internal memory is 8GB RAM or 16GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB, with a 16GB RAM plus 1TB SSD on the 15.6″.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6 in the Galaxy Book Pro, Wi-Fi 6E in the Galaxy Book Pro 360, Bluetooth v5.1, 1 Thunderbolt 4, 1 USB 3.1 (Galaxy Book Pro) & 1 USB-C (2 on Galaxy Book Pro 360). Finally, there’s a Fingerprint Reader, 720p WebCam, headphone/Mic-in jack & AKG | Dolby Atmos stereo speakers.

Well, I’m not a laptop person, but looking at the specs, I’m not interested in these laptops, why there are no high resolutions option, 2K or 4K. If you want more than 512GB of internal storage, you will need to choose the Galaxy Book Pro 360, the Galaxy Book Pro configuration max out at 512GB. Only the convertible version some with the S Pen, which is understandable. I also noticed that the Galaxy Book Pro 360 is equipped with the Wi-Fi 6E, while the Galaxy Book Pro has the Wi-Fi 6. Even though the port configurations are different on each model it’s not really a big deal, because there are workarounds. Touting this laptop around all day shouldn’t be a problem, it’s lightweight & will last you through your workday or pleasure day with the fully charged 20-hour battery.
